You know what.. I really think that John Grey is right, especially the book he wrote, don't tell me you have never heard of it! I know the cover is a bit lame, bright pink and white! Sooo pro-woman, isn't it? bit of gender biased there! Ha, I am quite a smart ass eh! You might not believe it, but I am !! :D

Alright, back to story.. I know it's Christmas night~ no one will be here clicking.. anyway!

I am sure every single human who is breathing now has have this experience more than 1 time: "yelling, frowning, shouting, going mad, cursing, crying, laughing out bitterly.... to the computer screen". DON'T TELL ME YOU HAVE NOT ~!! I won't believe you.

Do you love cute stuff ?! just like how my favorite (actually, one of my favourites) cartoon Sin Chan. He adopted Shiro (lil white) and began to take care of it.



Sometimes, he just held Shiro soooo tight until it fainted or visualized stars ~*~*~* Well.. I don't think he just loves to hold Shiro, if you have watched this cartoon, you probably will do the same! Why? Cause Shiro is like cotton candy, you would just want to feel how soft it is~ Umm.. just like when you see a bubble, you want to pop it ! make sense right?

Sometimes, I like to sit and watch from my room's window.. Nah, it's not like the view is breathtaking, it never is! Lots of annoying neighbors, old folks. But look up higher, I can see the clear, dark navy blue sky.. maybe if you could remove the lamppost for me it would be perfect.

It's just amazing that after looking up to the sky, cold cold air is sometimes brought into the lung and filled it with warmth and determination: Ganbate.. Whoa! look, I am saying something meaningful here! I couldn't stand to give myself a pat on shoulder now "hmm~ quite philosophical today huh!"

Life is like drama, but there isn't a script for it, too bad!!! It will just play by itself when you take the next step, even you choose to stay stagnant, it will still play. Maybe your audience will fall asleep as your screen hang there! Oh yea.. I have a story to share here:



There were few poisonous email exchanging from my world with another corner of the planet.. (same planet of coz !) Guess the e-postman was on leave one day, one mail went missing. Mr. A didn't receive any reply while Ms. B was waiting there.. and decision was made with misunderstanding.. neither of them knew..

Like a show right?! old school show !

The truth finally revealed one day, unfortunately/fortunately.. It was already too late.

People always say that "hey! be nice, be polite, be considerate." I don't deny that, that's pretty useful when I need a favor. BUT ! I have to admit that there are times, you just need to be not-polite, not-considerate, not-nice. It helps one to let out all the underlying feelings, it also helps another to have a hard knock on head to wake up.

An Odd Queer with the Revolist

Mission to be diligent !

Right, I think I have not told you yet.. that I have found a job! Woo hoo~!! I shall be reporting to work on Wednesday. Soooon! So soooooon~!! Can hardly wait *honestly* What worries me now is my study.. Hmm~ Will I able to cope it? I guess I can :D



Counting down the days and chapters to cover, I have loads to read according to the study guide!!! And I have an ambitious aim --- To read ahead the guide ! (clap clap) So this was what indeed happened....

Concentrated. Focused. Couldn't be more!

It was really interesting to read about cognition, behavior and emotions. Technically my process should be good without any distraction. Umm.. well.. How should I put it?? There was a book there - colorful, comical, hilarious, great artworks... awesome (enough!) It looked more appealing than the one I was holding - Black and White. Tried not to look at it.. disregard ed the temptation! HA!
I failed~


I don't think anyone in this world can resist!

I didn't realize how much time had passed while I was enjoying Eiichida's artworks. But I can assure you that I did not spend long time on it. Yupe, only like.. 10 mins? Unfortunately, my clock ticks faster than my *mental clock* ~


Making Up ~~!!

Frenziedly turned my attention back to the text book, and I successfully read a few pages without peeping at other temptations. It was pretty enjoyable~ Either I'd spent too much time operating my brain usage or the skills provided in text are just too effective. I fell asleep half way during Topic "Relaxation"....

ZZZZZzzzzzzzz.....

So I think, it's not my fault~ haha :D

Con.fess.ion.

You know what?! I nearly started this new post with "Dear Diary." !! It must be a kind of side effect of AFB - Away from Blog

It's been almost three months since I came to Sg. I was so eager to leave my previous job and pumped up with ridiculous adrenaline when I received the Master's offer. *pretentious* Without planning nor thinking carefully, I quit and believing that I will definitely get a job here. And the truth shows that I might be wrong..

Why would I take up the course? Aiming to get better offer with NGOs, utilize my skills to serve uprooted or unfortunate ones. * Serious? Applause *

Spent around 1 month looking websites, agency, clicking all possible jobs - from psychology related to training, to customer service, to even sales. No decent calls nor interview receive until now. Positive energy? dropped acutely from cliff to well.

Still no getting any better, but I am betting my life on this. I hope I will not lose this battle and new day is coming. Not sure whether my 1st step was wrong, I have to keep going until the end tells.

Camera isn't with me, so no photos will be added ! Too bad.. :p

Well I do have a funny thing to tell!! I just permed my hair recently, is slight curl now~ My best friends were glad and they loved it .. * how flattered *

But when the photo was posted in my FB, a friend of mine said I look like 30 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! * how depressed *
GOSH! I was awfully offended and hurted! hahahah! Even though I know I do not look like 30 (right?) Yet, I am just a poor little SHALLOW woman!

30 ~ come on, be mercy. hahaha~ Well, I don't mind to look like now when I turn 30 ;)
I'll still be gorgeous like a Mark St-Clair once said " you look gorgeous now, you will look gorgeous even when you are 40".

Life is tough! But I just have to keep Smiling! Maybe when this sh*t ends, I will be proud that I have added another interesting page of adventure to my life!

It ain't closing !!

Well, I have to tell you what happened in Singapore during my stay! Here's the story.. If you are not told yet, FYI - I am unemployed currently! Man, it sucks! I have no income and spending 2.3 more than I used to. Arghh... I don't even dare to invite friends for dinner or cool hang outs. :(

Oh oh! Back to the topic. Here I am in Sg, living in a Flat which is totally flat out. Nah, it is actually a quite decent place for unemployed people. Ha!



I'd busy days in Singapore, running here and there to sort things out, feeling ups and downs too! The Ups were, I get to meet up with my best friends, one worth mentions here is Henry - My lovely sister!



We were so excited to meet up and she, oOpps.. HE is still as adorable. hehe~ We went out for late night dessert and he walked me home after 1am. I live pretty much close to the top floor and elevator is a must!



Too bad, it wasn't working well.. the door just won't close and it stay at 1st floor. So, I came out with this idea - PUSH THE DOOR !



We tried a few times yet the door was too stubborn to reward our effort. On 5th time tryout, we noticed that a guy was standing outside the elevator. He happened to watch us doing this all these while.. and he just turned his head away at last & pretend he didn't see this.. Can you believe this?!!



Don't ask me after how many tries, the door finally closed and I got to reach home.. Safe!! Darn! It was quite funny and creepy~

Erm, let me introduce Harry, he is another not-bad looking guy in the office besides Adrian N. A nicer guy than Adrian perhaps :p

However, Polo seems to like Adrian more! How would i know? Read the story & you will learn how mean was Polo to Harry.

This day, Harry was checking out his pictures which took with us in a party. Some pics seemed to reveal that he has lesser hair than he thought. He frowned in disbelieve! Honestly, I think it's alright. While we're chatting, Polo came by and she noticed Harry's had new hair cut and she started to laugh.



"What's wrong with your new hair cut?! It's so odd and short at the back, looks like a coconut!"

Harry didn't make much responses and just remark that the hair stylist made it too short. Too bad, Polo noticed his "balding picture" at the same time! Harry didn't realize how wrong was his move to comment about his pic with the existence of Polo..

What blurt out from Polo's mouth next made me laugh like mad.

"No worries, you can pull some hairs from your chest & plant onto your head!"



I didn't mean to be rude but it was just too creative.. HAha! Well, I still like him as he is a nice person, and he is not balding ok.. :D

How to Tame a Cute Guy ;)

Hmm, I have to make this sounds more "interesting" that it should be. Been waiting to post something about this guy who thinks that he is, cute, charming, smart, important & cool.

His name, pretty common - Adrian N. Unfortunately, some people just can't spell him name in the way he wishes. He was called A - Drain or An -drian. Well, if you wonder why he would get all this names, let you tell you the truth!



He never, never buttoned the 1st button on his shirt - EVERYDAY! I am not sure what is he trying to show~ and yet, he got girls, women, ladies surrounding him day in-day out. Except me, take note please. Simply coz he always bully me, steal my properties and ..more~!! A very much annoying neighbor!

Today, Polo was trying to untie all the sticky tape from piles and piles of clothes. She just threw all the waste sticky tapes on my desk (adjacent maybe).



It's not too bad after all as I came out with a brilliant idea to keep Adrian quiet and focus. I took one clutched sticky tape and threw it to him.



Ta da~ He started playing with the sticky ball for whole day! Throwing here and there, happily directing all his negative energy to the ball. Believe me, he played it for few days continuously!!!



And I, enjoyed my peaceful moments without any disturbance! See, this is how you tame someone with skill and observation :D

Resignation Vs Gold Fish

Friday - 4.30pm Another wicked Friday~

An Engineer, a pretty quiet-sometimes very theoretical guy came over my work station with a quizzical smile on his face. He was holding a white envelope, telling me that he's going to tender his resignation. Oops..

He shut the door right after he went into the HR manager room, so I supposed the exit interview will begin in awhile and end in short too! Well, it turned out that my assumption was wrong and the interview went on for nearly an hour! Whao! Mine was less than 5 mins! Once the Engineer stepped out from the room, he just turned his head and headed to back to his office.

The gold fish walked out from his tank and stretched his arm, looking at me.. Hmm. Alright, I decided to say something "What a long interview!" And can you guess what the fish replied?



His replied has made me feel extremely offended and vehement! Could not hold any longer and I burst out with

"Can you stop all these kind of talking as many people are complaining - Rude and Disrespectful."

"Well, this is a construction company and ladies will learn to be tough with this"

I was so regretted that I didn't reply him in a more objective way - "So you are literally saying that Sexual Harassment can make our female staffs stronger?!" Arghh.. He might be a good manager in certain area, but I just can't accept him yet..YET! ha!

Two sided Birthday :D

05.16.10 - memorable day. ain't only a birthday. also a revision of friendship. love & care.



05.14.10 - Dinner with my lil-grown up sis @ alexis. Nini, yes please take note that her name is indeed Nini ! We ordered a few dishes, one that I anticipated most was the clam. Well, it was actually stuffed clam, but in our head was fried clam. "Don't tell me you wont think the way we did ..!!"

Stomach growling whilst waiting for the food to be served. When the clam reached us, we were stunned! It's not crispy nor fried.. It's 3 little soft thingy with 2 slices of lemons. Fortunately, they all tasted great! Thanks Ni ni (FYI, she hates it when I use that name)



05.15.10 - Whole day was dedicated for Nee!! Oops.. It should be the other way round. Her whole day was dedicated for ME!! We went to a Japanese Cafe House, a petite yet charming cafe :)

We had all our food served on the small dining table. Busy snapping pictures and checking out cute servants. When we're almost done with our food, Nee claimed that she wants to pee.. So she stood up and went to the counter.. In my head was like "maybe she's just gonna ask where's the ladies.." then I heard some whispering.......



Nee made lots of funny moves, seeing the candle, she indeed cried louder than I did. haha! And she literally forced the young servant to snap with picture with me! And what I wanted to snap with was the Oyaji.. ~!! haha.. I was not trying to be proud yet pretty sure that other guests must have thought that we were TOURISTS!

Met up with Kurt, a silly guy who pretended to be stranger when stood next to me. He ordered a ramen, 1 tofu, 1 original sweet bean curd with rice, 1 stuffed potato bean curd and 1 tuna bean curd.. And Guess what?!! He couldn't finish it and he begged us to take a bite. With a million of reluctance, I took few bites. BEAN CURDS!! Do you need that many of curds?! lol



05.16.10 - Oh no.. I called the whole supposedly "friends" in my phone yet none of them pick up my call~!!! It's my day and I felt so pathetic all of sudden, please.. despite the fun I had previous nights! It's normal right? people!! Finally.. My lovely ex-rooomiaateeee decided to accompany me~! Hooray!~!! That pulled me up from my dark dark well. Even though something happened, but I think it's really funny and she deserved a treat from me too :D



05.17.10 - Checked out the mail box and I'D A MAIL !!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh no....It's from another part of the WORLD! Wait a second, I was blaming some of my "friends" who didn't wish me sincerely and now I'm getting a card.. Oh no.. I don't deserve this familiar feeling named : Guilty!



Fooo~ It was from a good friend of mine rather than anyone above mentioned. HA! Told ya! I don't deserve that feeling - you know what.

Conclusion is.. I had a great birthday!!!! Emo is usual, I believe this happens on everyone except those who are super fortunate. And I am here to give a curtsy to all my lovely friends who sincerely or half-sincerely took part in my 16th May.

A Cruel Confession

How should I start this.. Oh well, it is not easy as it happened on me again. To be frank with you, I don't have bushy hair nor Afro. But I have thin and straight hair which make people green envy sometimes. Alright, "self praise is not praise". Let us begin the Cruel Con.fe.ssion.

I am a OL who always being exposed under sun or STRESS - nothing special, I know. Time clicking and whilst working. When the time reaches 1 or 2 pm.....

You can see me looking for hair pin or paper clip. Why? Coz a colleague of mine, named POLO - once came to my desk one day and pretended to leave me some important note while I was tighted up with my "deadlines".

She scribbled something on the desk calmly, left it there and back to her cubicle. As usual, I turned my heavy head and checked it out.

Without wasting another sec, I dialed to her extension to find out what was that. And GUESS WHAT? She remarked that she drew a sunny-side-up egg to indicate the sufficient "fringe oil" secreted from my hair could possibly fry an egg..!!

Do you think I bother? Indeed.. I do sometimes, but who cares?!! As there is noooooooo one in the office who I would like to impress with.. HA !

Mother's Day

Mother's Day~ Not sure what should I get for her as I can't afford fancy gifts now. Even though I feel like getting her a nice dinner bag. Instead, I went around One U and found a card for her in Lovely Lace.

I'd been thinking in my head about what & how should I put my words, I have to be extra careful. hee hee. Finally, I got it and the card was placed carefully on her piles of clothes, hoping that she will see it by today.

After few times of wandering in her room, I noticed that the enveloped was opened! But the card still lied there quietly. I wonder she read !! Or.. perhaps there's a song playing in her heart " Shania Twain - that doesn't impress me much" haha. Well I guess mother's day is just for naughty son-daughter to pay their depts.

Dynamic Boom

I knew this will eventually happen, and it happened on 29th! I had a fight with my goldfish boss..! Oh ya, If you wonder who he is, he is the one with "Seizure Eye". Well, don't ask me how did it happen and who actually won the fight. All I can tell you is, I didn't lose much & I'm prepared to lose my job anytime...



However, another thing happened again on that afternoon. Before I go into the story, let me show you where's my seat located:



I guess you are clear now. The Planning manager is another weird person who always try to lightened the working atmosphere. I should compliment him on this act. He got Adrian to use maskin tape and created a "border line" for 2 departments.



I was quiet funny buy it gave me a tricky feeling, psychologically ---I am trapped. Then he went on:



Everyone passed by will chuckle with great curiosity "What Happened?!" I bet they weren't concerning about me. They may just trying to stir up some gossips. I'll wait & see what will the Big Big Director says.. Hmmph.

Peff-ver-tic Boss

I don't really enjoy working with current company. I missed working freely like previous years. You have to believe that one of the reasons which I don't like is becoz of my boss ----very common, I know! Some how, my boss is weird man, OLD man with a "seizure eye" problem.

Seizure eye, I called it. As, He likes to stare at you for few secs, then close his eyelid slooooowly follow up with a quizzical smile. I just have to turn my head away when I see that. Of coz.. Believe me that I'm always worry that he will give me a hard task one day.

To make things worse, he has a mouth that stink like an un-flush toilet-bowl.

So.. I guess you can tell how much I like this job now.
